It’s tough to give a specific answer to this question because the lifespan and reusability of DreamWefts depend on whether you wear a permanent or temporary attachment type and how well they’re cared for.

Usually, you can expect DreamWefts to stay in good shape for 6-12 months.

Yes, DreamWefts can be easily trimmed to any desired width. However, it’s important to sew or glue the wefts at the cut ends to prevent hair from shedding. This is necessary as Hairdreams, unlike other manufacturers, refrains from using adhesives that contain harmful solvents in our weft production.

All materials, including the threads, come from organic sources. We are currently developing a safe, resin-based adhesive derived from organic compounds, which will make it possible to trim DreamWefts without the need for sewing or gluing. We hope to start using it within the next few months.

No: DreamWefts aren’t necessarily better, they’re just different and have their pros and cons compared to other hair extension and thickening methods.

One advantage that weft fans appreciate is that DreamWefts can be added without the use of heat or glue. On the flip side, extensions with bondings and tapes give a natural hair feel and offer more styling options. That’s why bonded extensions and Tape-ins usually are our preferred method.

You might see other wefts on the market that look thinner and more flexible with the same amount of hair. However, this is usually because they use lower-quality hair where the cuticle layer has been stripped off. At Hairdreams, we only use healthy hair with an intact cuticle layer, which naturally gives the weft a bit of extra strength due to the thickness of the hair.
